The Games Workshop Battle Bunker is coming to Bowie, Maryland. Estimated opening is mid may. Khan drove by the site at Hilltop Plaza Shopping Center 6820 Race Track Road Bowie, Maryland 20715. And here is what he found!
It's true, I fired up the old Vincent Black Shadow bike and rolled up the road to see what I could see. It's in a great spot, location wise for myself and my friends. It's only about 20 minutes from all of our homes. Plenty of food nearby and parking is about what you would expect. There used to be a comic book shop in that location, so the only real drawback I see is the oddly long hallway to get from the front of the mall to where the store will be. I see that being a bit of an issue when you have gamers trying to pass each other when going in and coming out. The alley behind that section of the mall is very narrow and I doubt they would allow people to drive to the back of the store to unload their gear, but who knows. I am very excited that GW has chosen to re-open a Bunker in Md and that it's 20 minutes away now as opposed to an hour is a huge plus.
